In the Configure Cabinet Face Layout dialog you build up your cabinet similar to the way you would build up a wall definition. This is similar to when you are editing a wall and you can select "Definition" to access the wall definition dialog. If you want to create your own custom configuration you would click on the Face Layout and then in the bottom left corner you will find "New Layout". Now when I uncheck Doors and Drawers to see the whole list all the oven layouts are grouped together under Oven. The oven layouts have names such as 2 door - oven - 2 door.spy. I then moved all the oven configurations from the Tall folder into the Oven folder. What I have done to make the oven cabinet face layouts easier to find is to go to C:\SoftPlan2014\Cabinet Face Config and create a new folder called Oven. The problem is that there are a huge number of choices and this makes the ovens sort of difficult to locate. So to access the oven cabinets you have to uncheck both doors and drawers in order to see the entire list. They can have doors, openings, and drawers. This is actually a filter that filters all the various choices down to just the number of doors and drawers you are wanting. When you click on the selection box for Face Layout you get a dialog that you can choose the door count and drawer count that you are looking for. The reason is that when you are selecting a Face Layout they don't show up unless you uncheck Doors and Drawers.
The oven cabinets are hard to find though. SoftPlan comes with several oven cabinets pre-configured that you can use as is or make your own configuration. I've been thinking of creating a tutorial about the new cabinet system but haven't had anyone asking about cabinets and just haven't got around to doing one. 2014 came out with a way to define cabinets, much the same way you define a wall. In previous versions if you wanted an oven cabinet you had to stack several cabinets together. Yvon, cabinets in 2014 are a lot different than in previous versions.
